Expanding the Role of Career Counselling:





Benchmarks of success and best practices needed to enrich workforce and gain key skill sets are emerging. The main aim of career counselling is to help students choose a field that is in tune with their skills and their job expectations. Thus, with the help of career counselling, most candidates end up choosing the right career, and perform their level best, which ultimately helps them succeed.
Career counselling basically consists of four elements:
  • Assisting candidates/students and individuals to gain greater self-awareness in areas such as interests, values, abilities, and personality style,
  • connecting students to resources so that they can become more knowledgeable about jobs and occupations,
  • engaging students in the trendy skills so that they can learn either they reap rewards in a brighter passionate career, start a business or simply a better salaried job.
